I’ve talked about Rich Chwastiak in a previous podcast because he’s the percussionist for other Quick & Sloppy interviewee Tristan Clopet (even though now I think he’s playing the drums).  But, outside of being Tristan’s sidekick, Rich does his own music under the name The WIG.

It’s pretty hard to describe The WIG, I guess the easy way is trance and tech DJ mixed with an electrical percussionist, which doesn’t do justice to the things that Rich is managing to do.  Aside from making tech and trance music, his live show is a combination of DJing and playing on a electronic drumpad.  We talk about it in the interview.

Rich and I also talk a bit about Tristan, but mainly about his growth as The WIG, his work ethic, and those famously huge arms that I am incessantly making jokes about.  Oh, and yes, I am aware that I call this episode 10 in the beginning of the podcast.  I was wrong.  Sue me.
